receptionist unhelpful & dismissive. It took 40 minutes of redialling to get past the engaged signal & another 10 minutes to speak to someone. I was then told my condition was not urgent & I could not have an appointment. There was no concern or care expressed.

I have just spent 50 minutes (most of my lunch hour!) on hold trying to get through to the receptionist. I think it is absolutely dismal that no matter what time you try calling the practice it takes very long for your call to be answered. I understand that the practice is busy but it is absolutely unthinkable that a person must be on hold for 50 minutes just to speak to the receptionist. It doesn't matter what time of the day you try to call the practice it is the same experience! Employ extra receptionists to answer the telephone! Will definitely be looking to move to another practice!

Extremely concerned by the lack of information governance by the receptionists at this Practice. A receptionist at this practice has disclosed my personal information and nature of my appointment to another patient just because we share the same surname. This receptionist subsequently handed over my patient letter in an unsealed envelope to a third part for delivery to me without my consent. A GROSS breach of my patient confidentiality and I would question how many other patients have suffered the same lack of regard!!!!

Good medical care spoiled completely by rude and unhelpful reception staff. The standard answer to obtaining an appointment on the day is "go to A&E" or "go to the walk-in centre". If this surgery was a private company, it would have gone bust years ago.
